Technology has resulted in the proliferation of large caches of information accessible to students. We, at AVV, encourage our students to consider alternate means of seeking, researching and assimilating such information, the school Library being the most important alternative. The library, therefore, ceases to be just a room full of indexed books; rather it has been transformed into a portal through which the student embarks on the path to self-discovery in terms of inherent ability, natural predilection and purposeful commitment. Through the school at large enthusiasm for books and reading is encouraged and the school takes great pride in nurturing high-level literacy and communication skills. We believe books are still a great source for the expansion of mental scope and formation of perspective without which the crystallization of individuality cannot occur.
